Karmen Vool

Clinical Psychologist / Psychotherapist

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist, having earned my degree from the University of Tartu. My clinical experience has primarily involved working with adults in a variety of settings, including a psychiatric clinic, private practices, a school, and a correctional facility. I currently also work at a fertility clinic.

I have completed full training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as introductory training in Schema Therapy and Family Therapy. I am currently training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and have completed additional professional training, including motivational interviewing. Alongside psychological assessment and psychotherapy, I am also involved in teaching and professional supervision.

My greatest professional passion is reproductive psychology, supporting mental health throughout family planning, pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, and the transition to parenthood. In recent years, I have focused much of my continuing education on this field, which has also led me to dedicate more of my practice to working with couples.

I am a member of the Estonian Association of Clinical Psychologists, the Estonian Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapy, the Estonian Sexual Health Association, and the Estonian Society for Fertility Treatment and Embryology.
