{"id":1520,"date":"2026-07-06T21:37:03","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T18:37:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stage.seluskliinik.ee\/en\/?page_id=1520"},"modified":"2026-07-12T23:40:17","modified_gmt":"2026-07-12T20:40:17","slug":"general-terms-and-conditions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.seluskliinik.ee\/en\/general-terms-and-conditions\/","title":{"rendered":"GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--80);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--80)\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-lg-font-size\"><strong>GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These General Terms and Conditions for the provision of services by&nbsp;<strong>Selus Kliinik O\u00dc<\/strong>&nbsp;(hereinafter the&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Clinic&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;or the&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Service Provider&#8221;<\/strong>) govern the rights and obligations of the&nbsp;<strong>Service Recipient<\/strong>&nbsp;and\/or the&nbsp;<strong>Service Purchaser<\/strong>&nbsp;and the Service Provider in connection with the provision of Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any matters not regulated by these General Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the&nbsp;<strong>Law of Obligations Act<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Health Services Organisation Act<\/strong>, and other applicable legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-lg-font-size\"><strong>Definitions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following terms shall have the meanings set out below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th><strong>Term<\/strong><\/th><th><strong>Definition<\/strong><\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Service<\/strong><\/td><td>Any services provided by the Clinic to the Service Recipient, including Healthcare Services and services that do not constitute Healthcare Services.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Agreement<\/strong><\/td><td>The agreement concluded between the Service Provider and the Service Recipient and\/or the Service Purchaser for the provision of Services, including Healthcare Services.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Service Provider<\/strong><\/td><td>The Clinic, including its employees and any natural or legal persons engaged by the Clinic in providing the Services.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Service Recipient<\/strong><\/td><td>The individual to whom the Services are provided or who has requested that the Services be provided.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Service Purchaser<\/strong><\/td><td>The individual who has requested that Services be provided to the Service Recipient and has entered into an Agreement with the Service Provider for that purpose.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Healthcare Service<\/strong><\/td><td>The activities of the Service Provider aimed at the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease, injury or poisoning for the purpose of maintaining the Service Recipient&#8217;s health, preventing or alleviating illness or suffering, preventing deterioration of health or exacerbation of disease, and restoring health.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Wellness Service<\/strong><\/td><td>A service provided to the Service Recipient that does not constitute a Healthcare Service.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Appointment<\/strong><\/td><td>A meeting between the Service Provider and the Service Recipient for the purpose of providing Services.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-lg-font-size\"><strong>General Provisions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Service Provider provides Healthcare Services and other Services to the Service Recipient, including consultations with clinical psychologists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Services may be provided at the Clinic&#8217;s premises or remotely via online communication platforms or telephone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Service Provider may engage third-party service providers in the provision of the Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Service Provider shall provide the Services in accordance with applicable legislation. Healthcare Services shall comply with the generally accepted standards of medical and nursing practice and applicable clinical guidelines in force at the time the Healthcare Service is provided and shall be delivered with the level of care ordinarily expected of a healthcare provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Services that are wholly or partially financed by the&nbsp;<strong>Estonian Health Insurance Fund (Tervisekassa)<\/strong>&nbsp;shall be provided in accordance with the terms of the agreements concluded between the Clinic and the Estonian Health Insurance Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These General Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the Agreement between the parties from the moment the Service Recipient and\/or the Service Purchaser requests the booking of an Appointment. By booking an Appointment, the Service Recipient and\/or the Service Purchaser is deemed to have accepted these General Terms and Conditions, and the Agreement shall be deemed concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Service Provider shall provide Services only with the consent of the Service Recipient or, where required by law, the Service Recipient&#8217;s representative. The Service Provider assumes that, by booking an Appointment, the Service Recipient has done so knowingly and has thereby consented to the provision of the requested Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The legal representative of a Service Recipient with limited legal capacity (who may also be the Service Purchaser) may provide informed consent on behalf of the Service Recipient to the extent that the Service Recipient is not capable of responsibly weighing the arguments for and against the proposed Services. Where the decision of the legal representative clearly conflicts with the best interests of the Service Recipient, the Service Provider shall not be bound by that decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Service Recipient may withdraw consent previously given for the provision of Services within a reasonable period after giving such consent. Where the Service Recipient or their legal representative withdraws consent during the provision of the Services, the Service Provider shall discontinue the Services as soon as this can be done without endangering the Service Recipient&#8217;s health. The Service Recipient or their legal representative shall confirm the withdrawal of consent by signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where the Service Recipient is unconscious or otherwise unable to express their wishes and has no legal representative, or where the legal representative cannot be contacted, Healthcare Services may be provided without the Service Recipient&#8217;s consent where this is in the Service Recipient&#8217;s best interests, is consistent with the Service Recipient&#8217;s previously expressed or presumed wishes, and any delay in providing the Healthcare Service would endanger the Service Recipient&#8217;s life or seriously harm their health. Where possible, the Service Recipient&#8217;s previously expressed or presumed wishes shall be established through the Service Recipient&#8217;s next of kin or close relatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where the Service Recipient has limited legal capacity, their legal representative shall be responsible for fulfilling the contractual obligations arising from the Agreement to the extent that the Service Recipient is unable to fulfil those obligations personally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Service Provider and the Service Recipient shall cooperate with one another during the provision of the Services and shall treat each other courteously and with respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Appointments may be booked through the Service Provider&#8217;s website (<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.seluskliinik.ee\/en\/book-an-appointment\/\">www.seluskliinik.ee\/en\/book-an-appointment\/<\/a><\/strong>), by email (<strong><a href=\"ma&#105;l&#116;o&#58;in&#102;o&#64;&#115;e&#108;us&#107;li&#105;&#110;i&#107;&#46;&#101;e\">&#105;&#110;&#102;o&#64;s&#101;&#108;usk&#108;i&#105;&#110;&#105;&#107;.&#101;e<\/a><\/strong>), by telephone, or in person at the Clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Service Provider processes the Service Recipient&#8217;s personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation of Estonia and the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Services are provided in Estonian or, by agreement with the Service Recipient, in other languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-kicker-font-size\"><strong>Rights and Obligations of the Service Recipient<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-lg-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\"><strong>Rights of the Service Recipient<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">he Service Recipient has the right to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>receive the booked Service at the scheduled time in accordance with applicable legal requirements and with the level of professional care required for the provision of the relevant Service;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>receive the Service at the Service Provider&#8217;s premises, unless the nature of the Service requires otherwise;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>actively participate in the provision of the Service, take part in decisions concerning their treatment, give or refuse consent to the provision of the Service, and be heard within the time allocated for the Appointment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>receive comprehensive information regarding the Services provided, including the right to access documentation relating to the provision of the Service and to obtain copies of such documentation in accordance with the applicable price list;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cancel a scheduled Appointment in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>submit proposals, provide feedback and lodge complaints regarding the Services provided in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>where proposals, feedback or complaints are submitted in writing or in another form capable of being reproduced in writing, they must include:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the date and time of the Appointment to which the proposal, feedback or complaint relates;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>information identifying the Service to which the proposal, feedback or complaint relates;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the name of the healthcare professional or other Service Provider whose conduct is the subject of the proposal, feedback or complaint;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a clearly stated request or claim against the Service Provider, including whether a response is requested. The Service Provider is not obliged to respond to proposals or general feedback but shall respond in writing to formal complaints in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>seek protection of their rights before supervisory authorities or other competent dispute resolution bodies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>by agreement with the Service Provider, request that another healthcare professional or other service provider provide the Service, or discontinue receiving the Service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-lg-font-size\"><strong>Obligations of the Service Recipient<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Service Recipient shall:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>familiarise themselves with these General Terms and Conditions before booking an Appointment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>attend the Appointment on time and, where possible, arrive approximately&nbsp;<strong>10 minutes<\/strong>&nbsp;before the scheduled Appointment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>present a valid photographic identification document at the Clinic&#8217;s reception;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provide accurate information when booking an Appointment, including their telephone number, email address and personal identification code;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>where booking an Appointment on behalf of another person, provide the Service Provider with the actual Service Recipient&#8217;s details, including their first name, surname, personal identification code, email address and telephone number;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pay for the Service before the Appointment in accordance with the Service Provider&#8217;s applicable price list;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provide the Service Provider with truthful and complete information necessary for the provision of the Service and any information that may affect the provision of the Service, including information concerning medications currently being taken, previous healthcare services received, chronic illnesses, infectious diseases, lifestyle factors affecting health, and other relevant circumstances;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cooperate fully with the Service Provider during the provision of the Service, including by following all reasonable instructions and recommendations given by the Service Provider;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>notify the Service Provider as soon as possible if they are unable to attend the scheduled Appointment. If the Service Provider is not informed at least&nbsp;<strong>48 hours<\/strong>&nbsp;before the scheduled Appointment, or is not informed at all, the Service Provider shall be entitled to charge a cancellation or non-attendance fee in accordance with the applicable price list, namely:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>50% of the Service fee<\/strong>&nbsp;if the Appointment is cancelled less than&nbsp;<strong>48 hours<\/strong>&nbsp;before the scheduled Appointment; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>100% of the Service fee<\/strong>&nbsp;if the Appointment is cancelled less than&nbsp;<strong>24 hours<\/strong>&nbsp;before the scheduled Appointment;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>use the Service Provider&#8217;s property with due care and only for its intended purpose, in accordance with the Service Provider&#8217;s instructions; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>comply with all policies, instructions, guidelines and other requirements communicated by the Service Provider in connection with the provision of the Services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-lg-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0\"><strong>Rights and Obligations of the Service Provider<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-body-large-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\"><strong>Rights of the Service Provider<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Service Provider has the right to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>receive from the Service Recipient any information necessary for the provision of the Service and provide the Service Recipient with information related to the provision of the Service;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>request the Service Recipient&#8217;s consent for the provision of the Service in writing or in a format capable of being reproduced in writing;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cancel an Appointment in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>charge fees for the provision of Services in accordance with the applicable price list and, in the event of late payment, charge late-payment interest at a rate of\u00a0<strong>0.5% per day<\/strong>\u00a0for each day of delay until the Service has been paid for in full;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>refuse to register an Appointment where the Service Recipient and\/or the Service Purchaser has outstanding debts towards the Service Provider;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>process the Service Recipient&#8217;s personal data necessary for the provision of Services, including health data. For the purpose of providing Services, the Service Provider may need to access the Service Recipient&#8217;s personal data contained in the Health Information System or any other data medium, including prior to the Appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Service Provider has the right to refuse to provide Services to the Service Recipient or discontinue the provision of Services if:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient wishes to receive a Service that is not medically justified or where providing such Service would pose a greater risk to the Service Recipient&#8217;s health than not providing the Service;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient arrives late for the Appointment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient fails to fulfil their obligation to pay for the Services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient fails to provide information necessary for the provision of the Services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient wishes to receive a Service that may endanger the health of the Service Provider or a third party;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient wishes to receive a Service for which the Service Provider does not hold the required licence, authorisation or professional competence;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient refuses to receive additional services necessary for the provision of the main Service where the main Service cannot reasonably or appropriately be provided without such additional services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient breaches obligations arising from these General Terms and Conditions, the Clinic&#8217;s internal rules, additional instructions provided to the Service Recipient, verbal instructions, or applicable legislation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Provider&#8217;s representative is unable to communicate with the Service Recipient in a language understandable to the Service Recipient and the Service Recipient is unable to arrange for an interpreter;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient displays signs of alcohol and\/or drug intoxication upon arriving for the Appointment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient enters the Service Provider&#8217;s premises with a pet, except for guide dogs and assistance dogs;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient refuses to sign the informed consent form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Service Provider has the right to postpone the provision of Services or refuse to provide Services if:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>postponement or refusal is necessary taking into account the Service Recipient&#8217;s condition;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Recipient refuses to sign the informed consent form;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Service Provider cannot reasonably provide the Service, including due to unforeseen operational circumstances, such as illness of the Service Provider&#8217;s staff, technical failures, supply difficulties or other obstacles affecting the provision of Services, employee strikes, or other force majeure circumstances preventing the provision of Services, including difficulties in obtaining necessary equipment or medicines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-lg-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\"><strong>Obligations of the Service Provider<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Service Provider shall:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>provide Services to the Service Recipient in compliance with applicable legislation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provide Services to the Service Recipient at the booked Appointment time, unless circumstances exist that justify refusal, termination or postponement of the provision of Services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>inform the Service Recipient of the results of examinations and assessments, their health condition, possible diseases and their progression, the availability, nature and purpose of necessary healthcare services, the risks and consequences associated with their provision, and other possible healthcare services, treatment processes and outcomes, as well as analysis and\/or examination results;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>explain in detail to the Service Recipient the content and nature of the procedures performed as part of the Services, the potential risks and consequences associated with the provision of the Services, and the actions required from the Service Recipient when preparing for, undergoing and recovering from such procedures, including any necessary restrictions on daily activities before and after the procedure or Service;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>recommend additional health examinations or refer the Service Recipient to another healthcare provider where this is necessary based on the Service Recipient&#8217;s health condition;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>process the Service Recipient&#8217;s personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation of Estonia and the European Union;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>maintain confidentiality regarding information obtained during the provision of Services concerning the Service Recipient&#8217;s identity, health condition and other circumstances, except where disclosure is permitted under these General Terms and Conditions or other applicable personal data processing principles accepted by the Service Recipient, where disclosure is required by law, or where disclosure is necessary for the proper provision of Services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>properly document and retain records in accordance with applicable legislation. Where required by law, information shall be submitted to the Health Information System or other registers and\/or databases;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provide Services in Estonian or, by agreement with the Service Recipient, in another language. The Service Provider is not obliged to translate documents;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provide Services and perform its activities in accordance with applicable legislation and the Agreement and its annexes;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>inform the Service Recipient or their representative of any obstacles preventing the provision of Services as soon as reasonably possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-lg-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\"><strong>Payment Terms for Services<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Service Recipient or the Service Purchaser, where the Appointment was booked by the Service Purchaser, shall pay for the Services in accordance with the applicable price list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Service Recipient or the Service Purchaser shall submit any objections or claims regarding an invoice issued for the provision of Services within\u00a0<strong>7 days<\/strong>\u00a0from the date of issuance of the invoice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Service Provider has the right to unilaterally amend the price list at any time. The price list is available at the Clinic&#8217;s reception and on the Clinic&#8217;s website:https:\/\/www.seluskliinik.ee\/teenused\/. Where the Service Recipient and\/or the Service Purchaser has booked an Appointment before an amendment to the price list enters into force, but the Service is provided after the amendment has been made, the price list applicable at the time of booking shall apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For complex, extensive and\/or longer-term Services, the final cost of the Service shall be determined following consultation with the Service Provider. Any cost estimate provided during a consultation may not be final, as the need for additional procedures and\/or Services may become apparent during the provision of the Service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where, during the provision of a Service, it becomes apparent that additional Services are required in addition to the Service already being provided, the Service Provider shall inform the Service Recipient or their legal representative in advance of the cost of the additional Services and request consent for their provision. If the Service Recipient or their legal representative provides consent and additional Services are provided, the Service Recipient shall also be responsible for paying for such additional Services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where, due to the circumstances, it is not possible to obtain consent from the Service Recipient or their legal representative, the Service Provider may provide the additional Service and the Service Recipient shall be obliged to pay for it in accordance with the Clinic&#8217;s price list if the provision of the Service is in the Service Recipient&#8217;s best interests and failure to provide the Service immediately may endanger the Service Recipient&#8217;s life or significantly harm their health.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Service Recipient and\/or the Service Purchaser may pay for Services in cash or by card payment. For remote Services, payment may also be made by bank transfer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where the Clinic provides Healthcare Services financed by the\u00a0<strong>Estonian Health Insurance Fund (Tervisekassa)<\/strong>, the Estonian Health Insurance Fund shall pay for the provision of Services to the agreed extent, and the Service Recipient shall pay any applicable co-payment in accordance with the procedure established by the Estonian Health Insurance Fund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-lg-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\"><strong>Procedure for Maintaining the Treatment Waiting List<\/strong><br><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The treatment waiting list is maintained in the healthcare management software system\u00a0<strong>eKliinik<\/strong>.<br>It is possible to register for the treatment waiting list through the Clinic&#8217;s website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seluskliinik.ee\/en\/broneeri-aeg\/\">www.seluskliinik.ee\/en\/broneeri-aeg\/<\/a>) or by email (<a href=\"ma&#105;&#108;t&#111;:&#105;&#110;fo&#64;&#115;e&#108;u&#115;k&#108;ii&#110;ik.&#101;&#101;\">&#105;&#110;&#102;&#111;&#64;&#115;&#101;l&#117;&#115;klii&#110;&#105;&#107;.ee<\/a>). The Clinic&#8217;s contact address is\u00a0<strong>Narva mnt 7b, Kesklinna district, 10117 Tallinn, Harju County, Estonia<\/strong>.<br>The Service Recipient books an Appointment at a suitable time and, where possible, with their preferred service provider. Registration is carried out by the Clinic&#8217;s administrator or by the person providing the Service. Through the Service Provider&#8217;s booking system, the Service Recipient may register themselves for an Appointment, or an authorised person, including the Service Purchaser, may do so on their behalf. When registering an Appointment, previously prepared and approved work schedules shall be taken into account.<br>Through the Service Provider&#8217;s booking system, the Service Recipient has access to information regarding the available Service time, the name of the service provider, the service provider&#8217;s contact details, and the location where the Service will be provided.<br>When the Service Recipient is registered on the treatment waiting list, they shall receive a confirmation email containing information about the time of the Service, the name of the service provider, the service provider&#8217;s contact details, and the location where the Service will be provided.<br>If the Service cannot be provided to the Service Recipient at the scheduled Appointment time, the Service Recipient shall be informed as soon as possible and offered a new Appointment time.<br>The Clinic has the right to cancel a scheduled Appointment and propose changing the scheduled Appointment time on the grounds set out in these General Terms and Conditions, including where:<br>the Service Recipient arrives more than\u00a0<strong>10 minutes late<\/strong>\u00a0for the Appointment;<br>the Clinic becomes aware of circumstances relating to the Service Recipient&#8217;s health condition which make cancellation of the scheduled Appointment reasonable;<br>the Clinic becomes aware that the person scheduled to provide the Service is unable to do so (for example, due to illness or another significant reason);<br>the Service Recipient and\/or the Service Purchaser has outstanding debts towards the Service Provider;<br>any other circumstance arises that would prevent the proper provision of the Service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>COMPLAINT HANDLING PROCEDURE<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The purpose of the complaint handling procedure is to ensure that complaints are reviewed and resolved as quickly as possible in order to ensure the satisfaction of Recipients of Services and the quality of Services provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Service Provider shall comply with confidentiality obligations when handling complaints. Complaints are handled by the Clinic\u2019s staff within the scope of their competence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A complaint may be submitted in writing to the Service Provider\u2019s reception desk or by email to&nbsp;<a href=\"m&#97;&#105;&#108;&#116;&#111;:&#105;n&#102;&#111;&#64;&#115;e&#108;&#117;s&#107;&#108;&#105;i&#110;&#105;k&#46;ee\">&#105;&#110;&#102;o&#64;&#115;elu&#115;&#107;&#108;iini&#107;.ee<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An oral complaint may be submitted if the Recipient of the Service may reasonably expect that the issue giving rise to the complaint will be resolved immediately and will not require further handling. Oral complaints are not registered, and the Service Provider does not provide a written response to them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A complaint must include the name and personal identification code of the person submitting the complaint, their telephone number, email address, date, the content of the complaint, and the requested solution. The complaint shall be registered in the Service Provider\u2019s \u201cComplaints Register\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upon receipt of a complaint, the Service Provider shall provide the complainant with initial feedback within 24 hours, confirming that the complaint has been received. The complaint shall then be responded to within seven days from the provision of the initial feedback. If a complaint is submitted on the working day immediately preceding a weekend or during a weekend, the Service Provider shall provide initial feedback on the first working day following the submission of the complaint.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Service Provider shall forward the complaint to the persons directly concerned with the complaint and shall collect information regarding the circumstances described in the complaint.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the complaint concerns a Healthcare Service, the person who provided the Service shall submit a written explanation regarding the circumstances described in the complaint. The complaint shall then be forwarded to another person with equivalent professional competence within the Service Provider\u2019s organisation for obtaining a second opinion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Service Provider shall prepare a response to the complaint and shall forward it to the person who submitted the complaint using the contact details provided to the Service Provider, either by email or by post.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Service Provider shall respond to a complaint within seven days from the date of providing initial feedback regarding the complaint.
